Photographer’s Note
Here's an overview of the Sufetula-site in Sbeïtla in western Tunisia. I have pointed out some spots in the large version, I have posted pictures from the temples (I, II, III and IV) and gymnastics hall (I and II), and a picture from the theater will probably come soon.
The church-marking refers to the building in the foreground which is an old byzantine church. I don't know the exact age, but something like 400-600 a.d. It is dedicated to the saints Gervais, Protais and Tryphon.
The large version is pretty grainy since this is a detail from a much larger picture, I've used the full length along the horizontal axis.

NIce panorama. I like the little bits of green in the photo. It is an informative view, also. There is a wide range of buildings here showing a long time of activity. I like the graininess. It brings out the feel of grainy sand/dirt here. I really like how the church, temples, arch and baths rise up from the leveled landscape. Nicely done.
