Photographer’s Note
Yet another view of the temples at Sbeïtla (see my previous posts for information).
I used a contrast mask to deal with the backlighting. The exposure's still a little uneven though. I pulled down the highest regions of RGB tone curves to make the sky slightly less white as well. This picture looks a little tilted, but it's only perspective problems due to the wide angle. If anyone can improve light conditions feel free to do a workshop.

Une belle symétrie pour présenter une photo d'entrée de ruine.
Le contraste est bon car il évite ainsi une sous exposition de la façade principale alors que la luminosité est très forte sur le dernier plan.
Le réglage a été bien fait bravo Simon

A nice shot again. Really good textures on the stonework. I like the darkness and the light as it is. Very nicely done. The difference in colors between these buildings and Rome's is in Rome they used a lot of marble on the monuments. Here they may have used limestone more than marble.
