Photographer’s Note
This is the detail I promised in my last post. I was amazed by how well preserved this ornamentation was. You can see this temple in my pictures Minerva Temple I and II, and similar structures in another photo. I also have descriptions of this beautiful place together with those posts. More pictures from here will come.
I decided to reduce the red cast that is usually in my pictures with this film and UV-filter. I like the warm tones they create but wanted to try something slightly different for this one, for no particular reason.
I couldn't decide how I should crop this, so I kept it pretty much as is, just took away a little of the columns from the bottom. The wall to left is maybe a little disturbing since it's so bright, but I wanted to have it for reference (so that you can see exactly where in my previous pictures this is). The picture is pretty dense as is, so I can't think of any other more powerful composition, if you have any ideas please tell me.

Very nice details on ancient pillars. I like the perspective and lines. Well done Simon.
Do you thought about some frame ?

Nice job. Good capture of the details. An added bonus from this angle and choice of cropping is that it makes the heavy stones seem like they are floating on these columns. Good job.

This is a very nice picture of Tunisie with a very interesting note, Simon. The amount of details we can see is incredible and I think your angle was good. Well done!
