[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
View of Tunis main street Avenue Habib Bourguiba in the evening. The gate seen in the distance separates two completely different parts of the city - Ville Nouvelle (business and administrative district) and Medina (medieval old town with narrow streets).
At that time the main city street was completely empty. That's because during Ramadan period a Muslim is expected to refrain from eating during the day, so after sunset everyone gather inside for the first meal of the day and suddenly all streets become almost empty.

Nice shoot. It's almost unbelivebal to think that this is the real colors, cause I can't remember to have seen such a blue colored sky reflecting so clear in the street, or maybe I can't remember because I have never catch it in a photo.

Anyway, rather it is postfixed or not, I like the color in the scene very well. Like the central point lined composition with the break by the lines in the front. For me, the only disturbing thing is the garbage in the street, could be picked up before the shoot.

Wow! I like this photo! I like the diagonal tram-lines, rows of lanterns and trees and yellow-blue gamma. And I like the nightly silence of thoroughfare.

Belle perspective. J'aime bien la profodeur de champ. cette avenue himide qui donne un reflet presque aussi clair qu'une surface aquatique.
Les couleurs sont belles et le ciel tranche bien avec le reste. Un bel effet star sur les lampadaires.

Excellent and interesting photo again! This street looks very, very European - a surprise for Tunis... I like that the streetlights look like stars and the color of the sky is exceptional. I guess, this is a "Sony style" shot - cannot be bad! :)

great shot of the street.beautiful light and shot at the right time, May be the only time when it could be empty.
Habib bourguiba avenue ends at the rails.From the rails to the gate, it's Avenue de France.
