[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In the afternoon the hot and dusty streets of Douz are deserted. This town on the edge of the Sahara is unbearable. But as the sun sinks towards the horizon the activity picks up, with shoppers bustling through the market.

This photo was taken from the roof of my hotel, the Bel Habib. I am looking down on the people, giving the scene an unusual angle.

no I live in Sfax :) I am sure that u know where is it :D true like looks like like this there:( I was there several times and nothing change and soon wont change:( I love it but I dont know how can I add it to my favourite:(

Hi Jonathan, a nice capture of a daily life scene, I like the from above perspective and the diagonal composition. The light seems to be great leaving nice shadows on the ground. Well done!

I have been there and I recognise the hot atmosphere of this rustic vegetables market. The vegetables here look very natural, extracted from the sandy earth of the oasis. Nice composition showing the animated life.

Nice shot, I like the long shadows and that one person is walking around with a wheelbarrow full of fruit. This really shows the relaxed atmosphere of Douz.

I slept a couple of nights on that roof top, and I too have a picture from there (click on the Douz link to see that and my other pictures from here). Amor and Habib are probably the two coolest guys I met on that trip. This brings back pleasant memories.

it's a common scene. I remember these exact sights from Morocco. How are you scanning these in?

Jonathan, ce POV en plongée nous montre la vie du quartier. J'aime la composition avec la rue en diagonale ainsi que les étals.
