Sidi Bou Said es un pueblo costero situado a unos 20 km de la ciudad de Túnez.
El nombre del pueblo significa "Señor aquel que". Desde 1920, el pueblo destaca por la ley que Rodolphe d'Erlanger aprobó, obligando a todos los habitantes de la localidad a pintar y mantener sus casas de color blanco, menos las puertas, ventanas y rejas que tienen que ser de color azul claro.

Sidi Bou Said is a coastal town located about 20 km from Tunis.
The town's name means "Lord who". Since 1920, the town stands out for the law adopted Rodolphe d'Erlanger, forcing all inhabitants of the town to paint and maintain their homes in white, minus the doors, windows and fences that have to be light blue.
