Photo of Ksar Ouled Soltane, a 15th century ghurfa (granary) outside Tataouine.
I only wish I'd taken this with something nicer than a 2 megapixel digital camera!

It doesn't matter that your camera is 2Mp,because Mps is not the quality.
This is a very nice picture. The colors are vividYou have chosen a time with nice light.Well done, and welcome to TrekEarth.

Hi Ian, welcome to TE, it's a beautiful photo to start with, as already mentioned 2 MP is not a problem if you don't want to enlarge your photo for printing, which is not the point here. Small cameras rather find their limits in terms of manual control over the photo. But on this one I like the beautiful light and good level of detail you caught, the diagonal positioning also helps the attractivity, well done !

Hi Ian, welcome to TE. A great first posting, very TE worthy, and very nicely done. Prefect lighting for this, the angled sunlight showing great detail in the building.

Housing unique to Tunisia I think. Lucas shot the first Star Wars here if memory serves. This is a wonderful light also.

2 Mp is not so bad, Ian, and the result is very nice. This is an very interesting type of architecture. I made a little ws, mainly focusing on brightness/contrast/hue levels, and on the nisy sky.
Very well done, and welcome to TE.
