Interesting portrait: Simple lines, a few objects placed to good effect, and the slant of the road is not a problem in this case. A powerful face, too.
Ever since Bulent Atalay wrote his piece on portrait techniques, particularly including putting one eye on the center line, I've tried to keep that in mind in my portrait shots. Although I think the positioning of the man in the "thirds" location works, you might want to look at Bulent's note and think about whether that would also work,
