Photographer's Note

Watching the boat marina and the sea from the top in Sidi Bou Said is simply irresistible especially when the strong light strikes upon the ripply water producing the silver effect.

A difficult situation to deal with - shooting direct into full sunlight aided by ND & polarising filters and underexposed by one stop to achieve a much more balance exposure while trying to retain as much detail as possible throughout the image.

The town is set up on a cliff overlooking the Gulf of Tunis and the Mediterranean Sea in the northern suburbs of Tunis, beyond the ancient ruins of Carthage. It's a very enjoyable place to explore with lots of photo opportunity..
