Sousse is a city in the central-east of Tunisia, on the gulf of Hammamet. It is only 20 km from the international airport of Monastir. A medina, surrounded by its city walls and fortifications, is of historical interest. The medina includes open and covered bazaars (souks). Buildings of historical interest include the ribat castle, the central mosque, and a historical museum in the casbah with mosaics. Unesco declared the medina of Sousse a world heritage site in 1988, citing among other things its preservation from modern development.Source : wiki. Scanned photo

looks like a vintage photo, you did a good job with the PP, excellent cutting and pleasant tones (almost one tone), it seems that has befallen a sandstorm on the city, the depth is good is clearly visible fortress in BG...have a good sunday...

this looks like a 70's photo. It looks like a sea of houses that reach up to the castle. I like how the strong light affects the different sides of the buildings and the patterns repeating in such an unorderly way. It's obvious that the streets are narrow and it looks like one has to make their way through a labyrinth to get to the castle. It must be a fascinating town. Well done and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely week,

I liked the geometrical mood of the compo with the tower dominating the scenery, despite being a scanned image I liked it.

very nice the view as the presentation of Medina Sousse, with the houses to looks well under this strange sky.So many houses and none tree between them.

Old scan but a very well show the old-town, white roof-tops and the tower at far.
Excelent clarity and goos outlines to distinguish the many houses in the labyrinth-built complex.

We see very few photos from Tunisia. This gives a real sense of the place. I like the monotone nature of this. (Working long hours these days - not much TE time - thanks much.)

Bon point de vue qui englobe un grande partie de la ville et une conversion au sepia qui donne une touche ancienne àl'image.

A great panoramic view overlooking this historical place. I like the colour palette as well - it looks as if the desert is only a stone's throw away.

Well seen and well-composed. It looks like a huge honeycomb. I think you did well to digitize this photo.

My goodness, Miguel! One feature at TE that I love is the presentation of "Random Photos" on a profile. When I clicked on your profile today, it showed me this fantastic scene! Your treatment of tonality here is very, very deft. It is a wonderful glimpse into a world so different from my own -- I love it!
If I had to offer helpful criticism, I would suggest that the horizon sits too close to the halfway point. May I offer a WS with a slight crop, reframing the image with a little more allegiance to the Rule of Thirds?
