Photographer’s Note
Taken in the back streets of Sousse. As you can see, the man did not want me to take his photo.
If some one does not want their picture taken, I won't take it.
In this case I had already taken it so it was too late. I lowered the camera and waved an apology. I always set the camera to silent so that there is no 'shutter' noise.
I do occasionally ask if I can take a persons photo, but on the whole I would rather not so that you get a more natural image.
This is why I like a black coloured compact rather than silver with the 'shutter' set to silent. It makes you less obvious.
