Photographer’s Note
Back in Tunisia...
Usually the busiest place in Sousse wasn’t that much busy (if at all) during my visit (tip for fellow photographers who want to avoid crowds).
The Sousse medina is one of the most convenient places to shop in all of Tunisia. Besides an enormous array of traditional shops, and souvenir shops that operate on the barter system, there are many price-fixed centres scattered around the medina.

Great shot, capturing the colour and chaos of the market, but it also has a very nice layout. The arch over the top of the walkway is a great touch, providing a natural frame for this. Well done!

Hello Robert,
You very well used great advantage of wide angle here. Especially arch and stone ground adds great value with your model. Seller's goods and sky makes your frame colorful and unique one. Congratulations.

Hi Robert
I've been fascinated of your fantastic photograph. I like even the deformity of picture corners due to wide lens. The colors are rich but natural, and the DOF is incredible. Very nice job.

Hello Robi! Again a "living" element with those colorful carpets flatterig in the wind just a little and the man sitting there obviously not in the mood for selling yet but I guess it changes fast when business is approaching. Love your colors and the blue of the sky that shines through and I find the arch is an essential element to make this photo a special one.
I am doing your couscous dish tonight and I hope all the ingridients are written down and nothing is missing or too much ... otherwise I mail you the rest ;) All so funny but once I made an icecream recipe with rum in it and I guess we were all a little drunk in the end - so much alcohol and obviously there was a minor mistake in the quantity ... I will let you know how the harissa part went ... Barbara.

Hi Robi, you've managed the light incredibly well here - from the bright sunlight in the distance to the shadows of the archway - all perfectly exposed. Good POV - just a pity about the litter bin (but you can't have everything!)
Best regards, Roberto

Hi Robert!
This is a medina I don't know yet! Try to go there by this time of the year and you'll find thousands of tourists around:)) It was a good moment for sure and the pov is excellent. I like the details, like the carpets and the man sitting outside, waiting for the tourists.

Bonjour Robert,
j'aime le charme de cette vieille rue qui a gardé tout son typique. Un cadrage que je devine pour éviter la gauche moins attractive.
De très belles lumières et des couleurs qui donnent bien sous ce ciel très amical.
Regards.
Daniel.

Hey Robi,
Great shot! I can't wait to visit this place :) I'm planing to spend my vacation there in september and for sure visit Tunis, Sahara and Sousse but can you give me any advice about places for vacation - Nabeul or Port el Kantaoui? I Can't decide where to book a hotel...
Have a nice day

Robert: a classic victory in DOF *and* framing/crop - I like it. You did a good job with keeping the light gamut manageable too. congrats, c
