well composed - it's taken at a good angle. the message is great. the scene you took is interesting. i like the almost pastel colors all across as well. on your note: i would leave the sky as is. i think it adds to the atmosphere. very nice photo. joop

Hi Adrienne, I think this photo is awesome. I love the rusting corrugated iron roof, the hanging light socket and the crumbling foundations which contrast with the profound poetic Graffiti. It's almost as if the guy in the photo chose that spot to work because he liked the meaning. Do you know what he was mixing/grinding?
Great perspective. I'd leave the dull sky also as it does help create the ambience of the image which may be spoilt by a blue sky.
Cheers

Hi Adrienne,
this is a real african shot! Very interesting and nice message and very good composition.
I know the problem of grey sky in Africa but I think is something natural and I prefer not to give it blue... but it's my personal opinion...
Have a nice day!

Hi Adrienne,
Love is love everywhere. It is strange that somebody had to express feelings in English in such a village. Nice capture
Thanks for sharing
Hello Adrienne,
I am also surprised to know that Togo uses arabic. Its the arabic word on the door that caught my eye, it sands for "One" (1). I guess they number their homes. Its a good thing you didnt give it blue, it keeps that natural feeling of being untouched for a long time.Well captured.
Regards, Ramy.
Nice picture. Your composition is really nice. I played around with it a bit in the workshop just to emphasize the message. Just an idea.
Ciao!

Excellent. Well caught image. It's so easy to walk by these opportunities and miss them. Photographically I think keeping the grey is right but enhancing the contrast as done by MeAt seems to work nicely to add a little punch.

Leave it as real as it is now, a moment in time, but a lasting impression..... Such nice work!
