The Price of Water Photo

Photographer’s Note

I took this picture in the little village of Agou Nyogbo Agbetiko, Togo, Africa. This was about two years ago, in the Spring.

This girl was bringing water from the well back to her home. It is a harder task than it may seem and though her clothes were in raggs, she still looked beautiful to me!

While I was going back through these old pictures of my trip to Togo, I selected a few I liked best. I have decided to upload them all as part of the same theme. I hope you like them!

Nice picture with a very interesting theme! It seems a difficult task... We can't understand the real value of the water because it is granted for us, but for other people its not...

A scene of life very well collected with a POV well selected. The attitude and the expression of the youg women are very well collected. Great prospect to the details in the BG. Good and interesting photowork.

A good daylifeshot from a not often shown country here at TE.
She looks very elegant doing her hartd dayly job and it`t nice to some of the enviroment and how these people live there.
