Photographer’s Note
Taken on the Southern Shores of Lake Togo directly south of Togoville on the opposite shore of Lake Togo. Taken in the same village as my previous Togo shot.
Life doesn't seem to be easy in this part of the world, children not getting many breaks either. They work hard but they also work with a smile. This little girl was going taking water back and forth between the well and her house. I didn't really want to bother her with a full bucket as it was probably hard enough carrying and balancing a 40 or 50 Lb. basin full of water without a camera in your face so I got her on the way back to the well.
