Photographer's Note

Fishing nets on the beach in Lome, Togo. In the far background, the boats waiting for the port of Cotonou in Benin. They prefer to park in Lome, however distant for hundred kilometers from Cotonou, as the area is safer. There are indeed frequent acts of piracy in the area between Benin and Nigeria.
