Toba,
Another very beautiful sunset image of Manyara, I don't rememer that manyara, has such a big lake. Almost look like an ocean in the background. Wow, I totally miss that when I was there. At least I don't remember the lake being that big. I stay in the camp site, so I didn't get to see the lodge. Wow, abusolutely beautiful and did great capturing it with beautiful sunset colors. Thanks. I hope you had a great trip to Italy and love to see some photos soon. Thanks.

Glad you did not loose your Canon, that would be really bad news, although the lost of every camera is a small tragedy. Here you caught a great mood in light with only two colours, really amazing. Reflection is very beautiful, but that red cloud is really stealing the show here...wonderful.

Clever shot Toba, using the swimming pool as well as the lake to reflect the sunset colours. You look quite close to the lake here as if you had used a longish zoom to shorten the distance, but I see I am mistaken. The inclusion of the shelter on the right also works well in the composition. I'm not sure about the plant at the bottom as it keeps drawing my eye when I want to concentrate elswhere. Nevertheless well done.
You must be gutted about losing the images from Italy!!

Anyway I like your Tanzania photos as well as my mother did your leopards :) To be honest I like this one with reddish sky and reddish reflection of it on the water more than your wild life photos. TFS,

Hi, Tobias. I like the beautiful pastel colours in the sky. They contrast well with the silhouettes of the lodge and the tree in the foreground. The reflections in the pool are also very beautiful. Good use of the roof to lead us into the picture.

cooles Bild, mal was anderes von dir! Aber das gefällt mir echt gut, die Spiegelung im Wasser, echt schön. Vielleicht lenkt sie ein bisschen von dem tollen Himmel ab, geht mir zumindest so, aber das ist ja nur ne Kleinigkeit.
Kompositionsmäßig passt aber alles, muss ja echt ein schönes Hotel gewesen sein, warst schwimmen in dem Pool? Sieht echt einladend aus, ich würd sofort reinspringen!
