That's some curtain of light, Bertrand. Amazing. This could also work with a full silhouette. At first I thought maybe it would be good to deal with that blue light caused by the exhaust smoke, but I guess that gives you the contrast to see the smoke against the haze. Best, -Hugh

Superbe ambiance. Une belle lumière. Une photo qui pourrait être n'importe où sur la Terre. Simple mais fascinant, un moment de grâce... Les deux petites touches de couleurs dans la composition, le triangle vert de la végétation, et les effluves qui sortent du pot d'échappement, rendent l'ensemble encore plus magique.

Ta photo rend bien l'atmosphère enfumée des grandes villes surpeuplées d'Afrique ou d'ailleurs... tout est dans la petite touche de gaz d'échappements bleutés.

Mais comment fais-tu pour nous livrer de telles merveilles chaque fois que tu postes une photo? Celle-ci est vraiment fantastique avec ce motard qui traverse ce délicat voilage et le top, c'est la petite fumée bleue (tellement mieux que Gaz de France!!!)
J'aime aussi énormément les jeux d'ombres et de lumière au sol.

Quelle lumière ! Quelle beauté dans cette ambiance. Cette brume donne une très belle impression et permet de plaçer cette personne et son scooter en ombre chinoise. Seul défaut, la tache bleue du pot d'échappement qui attire le regard. Sinon, c'est parfait.

Despite the light you still found some detail on the man with his yellow shirt and some smoke from the exhaust pipe which makes it more alive than just a static picture. The curtain of light makes the whole composition very interesting....very good work because these kind of images are not that easy to make but you did really a great job here.

The sun's rays are amazing and you have captureed them so well. They make a perfect background to the silhouetted man on his motor bike, giving him an air of mystery. There are one or two details which deserve a special mention, like the dappled shadows on the road, the patches of green in full sun and the blue smoke from the exhaust of the bike. Good work

Superbe lumiere ici que tu as tres bien utilisée. Ca n aurait pas créé une photo avec seulement cette lumière, mais avec le motocycliste, ca prend une toute autre ampleur.
J aurais aime etre la moi aussi, j aime bien ce type d eclairage: quasiment une cathedrale en plein air.

tu nous offres toujours de très belles lumières dans tes photos et celle-ci ne fait pas exception à la règle. Je ne l'ai pas vu tout de suite mais j'aime aussi beaucoup le halo bleu un peu étrange qui sort du pot de la mobylette...ainsi que les lignes dans le fond.

Re Bertrand,
tout est dans les brumes et les fumées ici, et leur capture parfaite sous ce soleil très complice est remarquable. Mais ce qui l'est encore plus, c'est l'échappement bleu de la moto et ce personnage en contre jour.

jeux d'ombres et de lumières si équilibrés dans la monochromie,
cohérence géométrique et graphique,
clins d'oeil de touches de couleurs atypiques (touffes d'herbe et gaz d'échappement)
le gaz pollueur met la photo en mouvement, et les rideaux de lumière en donne la profondeur.
Je suis une fois de plus admiratif, en me demandant ce que je fiche avec un appareil photo...
Je ne trouve plus les superlatifs, hormis de te dire que mon plaisir du regard et de l'imaginaire est à son comble.

Very beautiful rays of sun light shining through, and you have captured it so very well. I have no sucess with this kind of shot yet. There are still very nice detail on the motorcycler. Good composition even if he is driving out of the image, because all else is good. The light the shadow on the ground. Simple yet so much to look at. Thanks.

Ce fond voile, donne beaucoup d'atmosphere à ta photos ,les quelques lignes que l'on aperçoit sont bien dispersées. A la rigueur j'aurais aimé que le cycliste soit vu un peu plus latérement mais sa tête est si bien placée que l'on oublie ce détail.

I just found this marvellous image of yours. The lighting is superb, and your exposure allows a lot of detail on the scooter and rider to come across. Those rays of sunlight look superb - yes, like a curtain. I like very much the little burst of 'blue' smoke from the exhaust, and the placement of the subject in the composition.
