Continued from the last posting…
This image is just a tiny little glimpse of the great migration…and there is no migration without many dangers ahead. These 12 lionesses are gathering near by, waiting for any opportunity to attack a wildebeest or a zebra for a good meal. You can see the line of Wilderbeest in the background.
Okay, for those who are counting, there are only 11 lions on this image, Take a look at Workshop for the 12th one all by herself off to the side. If the response is good here and people like to see more of the close up of shot of these lions I will post them in the next couple of day before I took off for two weeks visiting friends and family in Europe.

Hello,

Really great picture. The composition is really perfect with the lions in front and a lot of landscape in the back. It really show the Serengeti as I would expect it.

Hi Way!
The WS is lovely! Effectively shee seems to be meditating :-))
Your main post is great, with a good composition and sweet colours.
Where are you going in Europe? Anyway, have a good travel and if you come to Belgium, I would be glad to know you !
Regards,
Marianne

hi, v nice composition with all those lions in the fg and the line of animals at the bg. Also a nice contrast as the lions camuflate with the yellow grass and the animals at the distance seem to blend more with the trees area.

regards
Allen

kristaps

Hi Way!
Very nice picture with beautiful colors and nice contarst between them.
I like the whole scene very much, I really like those perfect placed lionesses in this wonderful nature. The frame matches to the composition very well and I like the depth very much.
Well done!
Jonas

Wow, both the fauna and the flora seem to conspire to form a perfect photogenic succession of horizontal layers, first the lions, then the wildebeest, then the acacias, then the rest.
