Photographer’s Note
This picture is one of my favorites. The composition and everything isn’t great but it was the first one I took in Africa. I was fresh out of high school and on my own in a very foreign continent.
The boys in the picture I saw almost everyday. They would wait outside and then walk me to wherever I was going.
Karanga is the name of the village where I was staying.
