Walking around Mto Wa Mbu, a town near Lake Manyara, we met this girl, taking care of her brother while the parents were busy making banana beer the local drink, (see workshop) I had a little taste, it tasted strange to me. It’s an acquired taste, I guess.
Cropped and convert to sepia tone at 50 percent.
Slightly sharpen and contrast

Very interesting mix of sepian tone and color. Looks like a normal color photo fading and lossing its original color. Nice effect but not sure I like it that much since it's not really an old photo. Great smile on the girl and good sharpness, excellent composition. and nice and simple frame.
Hi Way,
Cute portrait of these kids. That's the way big brothers (and sisters) take their smaller siblings to take parts of play and daily life. Sepia toning works quite well, still highlighting red clothes.

I wonder if the banana beer is made in a similar way to the laolao in your country! Excellent double portrait that tells a lot about the way of life, where relatively young children care for their younger siblings. I like your PP treatment; it actually appears to be a reduction in saturation rather than a conversion and sepia added. It works well.

Hello Way. An interesting and beautiful photo. It is colored, works however like a monochrome version. The composition is exemplary. Worth seeing. Best regards, Wolfgang.
