Fishing Dowh in Zanzibar
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
A dhow is a traditional Arab sailing vessel.
It is primarily used along the coasts of the Arabian Peninsula, India, and East Africa.
A larger dhow may have a crew of approximately thirty while smaller dhows have crews typically ranging around twelve.
Nowadays in Zanzibar Island the smaller ones are used to do sailing, fishing and snorkeling |

Hi Andrea
It's nice to see pictures from Zanzibar. I know very well this place. Beautifull sail in the lagon.
Excellent

Hi Andrea,
Ilike this shot much...
The tones of the blues, the position of the people on the sail, the location of this exciting sail on your capture and the froggy back side are excellent...
Bravo...
Stay well

a nice mouvment with this sail; and nice colors.
Very nice pic with many tones of blue and grey. Great compo (I guess you were grateful to have a 70-200 there ;0) delivering somehow a powerful feeling. The boat structure leads well the eye throught the pic...good work!
Cheers,
Pris.
