Hi Hubert,
I really like the B&W format used here...it seems to create an old type look to this image....as if it was taken by some long gone hunter of the Africa lands. The composition is good with great emphasis on the large old tree, but I probably would have left a little more space at the bottom of the photo.....seems that the elephants are nearly out of the image. Very good shot though. Well done.
PS. There is no option right now to award points.
Cheers Grant

bonjour Hubert

Bon dimanche,
JB.

Hello Hubert,
We're so accustomed to seeing "safari" shots in colour that it makes a nice change to see one in black and white. I like the way the light catches the trunks and backs of the elephants. The baobab tree is also spectacular and indeed makes the elephants look tiny by comparison.
A very luminous, refreshing image.

Bonsoir Hubert

Jolies silhouettes.

Hi Hubert,
Your Tanzanian gallery is, you'd agree with me, very small but it's worth looking at each of the images.
This one is truly impressive. I am not used to see B&W images of expeditions.
Excellent display of light and shadows.
Regards,
Maria
P.S. I hope you post more Tanzanian images!
