[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In the last two days I have posted some photos of Ngorongoro Park, this one, and this other one, but now is time to comeback to the mountains, to Kilimanjaro.
Since now, I have posted some photos that looked quite spectacular, with very good feedback from TE people, like this sunrise, now it´s time to upload one of those that dont use to have so much succes, but that I consider very important to understand what it is to climb Kilimanjaro. As any mountain, at a certain altitude, vegetations are animals has dissapears, only human been likes to go so up the mountains, where there is nothing but a dessert of stones.
The point is that you feel so small up there, feeling like is not fair your time on earth is so short compared with these stones that dont enjoy the beauty of skies and landscapes while you are able to celebrate them, but this is the way it is, I guess.
I understand is a more difficult photo, but I do hope you like it as you have already appreciated my other photos of Kilimanjaro. Take care.

Hola Miguel,

Angl.

Goodmorning Miguel, your previous posts are beautiful indeed. And I love this return to the rugged mountains and the climbing. You really conveyed the feeling of being very small in this fascinating desert of stone very well. The path and the climbers structure the entropy in a beautiful way. Very nice and graphic work and it great to see your travelogue develop.
Have a fine weekend and take care.
Bert

Hola fiera.

Hi Miguel,
Indeed, you must realize how insignificant you are when you walk here and how hard life can be.
All that little people with packets on their heads lost in this immense landscape. They look like ant following their track.

After reading your review of a shot I posted I now understand what you mean -- there isn't much context here, but this really works as a storytelling shot (perhaps even BETTER than if we had the context). A well done shot in what seems to be a whole portfolio of interestng work. Thanks!
Mike

Hola Miguel.
