[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
When we visited Zanzibar, we stayed at a hotel at the tip of Stone Town. This scene is from the hotel deck, facing the channel separating Zanzibar from the mainland. It's a bit of a tropical cliche, but cliches are classic for a reason.

Except for removing a couple of spots (the camera needs cleaning), and reducing it to fit here, I've made no edits to the image. This is as it was taken. ISO was 400.

Hello, Dan
Well, another minimalistic but very beautiful shot. I like the smooth passage from colour to colour and the inclusion of the palm-tree branch that's a genuine lookalike of a bird-wing.
Very well processed.
But as I've exhausted my daily portion of pts-giving smilies, I can't use them to show my positive attitude towards your shot:)
Nice WE
Valerka:)

Hi Daniel
Very nice composition and original idea. No points so far...how come ??
Here are my 2 cents.

Jaaaa, it's a cliche... I love cliches :-D
It's simple but great, sometimes the simple pics are the best.

Greetings

Kerstin
