Great mountain and so interesting as installed in our memories by the novel from E Hemingway.
Good conditions for this shot and you render well the volcanic aspect of it by giving the whole cone.
A good one with colors and light.

Esto marcha... no me extraña que el trekking sea interesante por sí mismo, ¡con estas vistas! No me refiero sólo al volcán, también a esta tierra gris, que no puede ocultar su origen y que has capturado muy bien, tanto de textura como de color. Las nubes son formidables para aumentar "atmosféricamente" tanto la distancia como la altitud. Estupenda foto! Gracias!

Hola Miguel, another one of those beautiful, seldom seen spots. I like it how the photo tells his own story, the cloud in it, the summit covered with snow, and far away still, and rising high up in the sky. I could imagine that you would feel very tiny over there.

Great view of Kilimanjaro that you offer us here with clouds beautifully placed around the summit. I like the contrast between the arid rocky foreground and the snow capped summit.

Hey you're getting high ! I wouldn't have imagined you getting to such Bibi-Heights, don't know why... It's strange to see snow in Africa but at this height it's understandable, nice comprehensive view of the peak, and you did carry all your hardware to the top ?

Tu es beaucoup plus courageux que moi pour approcher le sommet. Je me suis contenté de l'avion. Ton image est tres belle et la presence du nuage donne encore plus d'importance au sommet.

Wow, that's impressive.
The ground seems to be impressive and with a lot of contrast between the foreground and the snowy background. The cloud as a border between the two states is well seen.

El Kilimanjaro es una de mis montañas favoritas. Me alegra que hayas tenido la suerte de estar ahí para verlo. Y, por tu nota, no sólo fuiste a verlo, sino a subirlo. Espero que gozaras de esa experiencia fuera de serie. Aunque ya había visto una foto tuya en el Etna, esta me ha impresionado más.
La foto es también estupenda. Quizás le falta algo de definición, pero las nubes han ayudado a una bonita composción.

impresionante montaña esta y la niebla añade algo de mistico ... lo se esto es demaisado banal :), pues estoy empresionado por la altura, pues yo nunca he subido mucho sobre los 3000 metros y aqui ya estabas 4600! y con todo el camino adelante, ¡enhorabuena!

Legendary summit indeed. Always impressive to see.

On august 6th, at about 9:30 and looking from the starboard windows of my Kenya Airways flight going from Nairobi to Zanzibar, I looked down and saw the Kilimandjaro raising from the clouds.

Perhaps you didn't notice my salute to you from above : that was the quickest Trekearth meeting ever ;D ...
