La lumière sur la glace est superbe Jean. Les reflets et les couleurs de l'aube en font une photographie superbe. Très bon travail et dépaysement assuré.

C'est une photo qui mérite bien d'être publiée sur TE, cette prise de vue est rare, vu que la plupart des photos du volcan sont prises de la plaine.
Vous avez dû vivre une aventure palpitante.

Magnifique vu de la plus célèbre des montagnes d'Afrique. Les couleurs sont superbes et j'imagine que cela a dû être une fameuse expédition pour grimper là haut. Faut aussi un bon sac de couchage et une sacrée forme physique!

Well, the morning light is surely doing an amazing job putting "Kili" in a very favorable light setting. I am impressed by the appearance of "white steps" on the mountain top, and the play of shadows on the snow field below. Thanks JR for taking us up to the high altitude with this photo.

Hi Jean; the lighting here is what makes this shot but I also like the way it reminds me of a rich chocolate cake covered in icing. Yum!

Jean Richard, I am gone for some time and again I don't know which beautiful picture of yours to see...light is very very beautiful and probably it was the only time to catch those details on ice..and I am glad I could see this famous place (well, famous for our ages probably)..thanks..

The light coming through dawn, gives this landscape a rather warmth hues to its coldness. Also something about the ice and its pastel looking color, making it looked like icecream or cake. Very delicious looking this scene Jean.

Le cadrage est super, avec le glacier qui descend en diagonale. La luminosité laisse effectivement entrevoir que c'est le lever du soleil, et c'est très joli. Bravo et merci!

Beautiful shot - you caught a really nice light here. I've been looking at all your photos of Kilimanjaro today (lovely collection)having just climbed it this Christmas - there's much more snow in my photos and it's amazing how different it looks.
