Maciej,
Wow 2 portraits in 3 uploads! I like the way that the whole of the frame is almost one tone which really allows the boy in his red masai cloak to stand out. The boys expression is one of tenderness. Excellent work as always. Simple but very strong.
Cheers

Great glance, he looks like very impressed by the doctor. It's a bit noisy, maybe for the high ISO or the high compressed file. Don't forget that you can use 800pixels and 200k for file. All tones of colors are well mixed.
Well done,
Cheers, Jean-Claude

A genuine look of concern and interesting is well captured in his emoitve expression. Strong white eyes, and nicely focused in the middleground.

dave.

Hi Maciej,
Very nice contrast between the boy and his surroundings. Great shot. I don't agree with the workshop. Colour is the colour of choice here ;-). I do agree with the comment on the over-exposure. A second workshop ;-).

Striking expression Maciej. It really paid off the wait. Sharpness is very good. The output from that lens/body combination is really a treat. I like the composition, your aperture choice and the exposure settings. Don't think it's overexposed at all... Just don't like that blue cast on the light on the top of the head. Beautiful.

Beautiful portrait, Maciej.
The DOF you used is perfect, and this tree or pole is very unusual for a portrait but it gets to be really expressive of this boys (perhaps slightly fearful) observation.
Very good!

I recognize Manuel's (Manny) eyes in this photograph. I thought he wasn't posting anymore around here ;o)
Kind of bizarre division of the frame Maciek...I'm not very fond of this one.

interesting shot! not too happy withthe pole in front of his face though! But he does have an interrogative look in his eyes...

Beaucoup d'interrogation mais surtout de tristesse (et peut-être d'inquiétude) dans ce regard d'enfant.Beaucoup de force dans ce portrait, Maciej!

A powerful, moving portrait. The bold composition, using the wooden post, gives it even greater impact. regards Kevin

Hi Maciej,
A beautiful and very moving portrait this is. There is depth and mystery in those eyes, in a way that we rarely see, even amongst photos by the best of the best.
