[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another East African country that I will never forget... This maasai village is situated just next to the entrance of National Park of Ngorongoro crater. If you are willing to visit massai village, there is no fee ... but your guide will probably explain to you that not all of massai tribes would accept the tourist into the village. Those who do welcome tourists would tell you about a contribution (reasonable amount usually) which is used for education and medical care, and is distributed among all Maassai community, even the villagers who would not accept seeing foreigners within theirs terriotory woud benefit from tourist visits ... The chief of the villages divide all incomes according to the needs of each member of Massai tribes (within Kenya and Tanzania).. I found it curious and rather fair!
On the other hand the saying that a Photo taking would capture a part of your soul is still beleived among the tribes. It is fair enough that you should always ask a permission if you want to get some shots.

Hi Irina, The consept of the shot is excellent, with the people looking out across the land or the finishing off of the other hut I'm not quit certain & you have managed great light & colour, the sky is excellent, but sorry I hate the shadow, so I did a workshop just to see it a little different, I hope you like it, kind regards Wilson.

Hi Irina,
Lovely shot. These four people dressed in red that appear especially remarkable, perhaps because they make such a contrast with the green background.
Normally I don't like to see a photographer's shadow in the foreground, but here these long, elegant shadows make a nice detail, since you were obviously surrounded by two other tribe members.

comme d'habitude ,je vais être honnêteavec vous,comme j'aime qu'on le soit envers moi,je trouve cette photo trop colorée et malgré celà surexposée.les tons clairs(les coiffes et les "bouées") sont trop blanches.dommage aussi pour les ombres des photographes, et l'horizon des montagnes qui penche grave à droite.un peu plus de netteté serait bienvenue. enfin,il faut admettre qu'avec un petit appareil on fait ce qu'on peut...

PS: I personally didn like the workshop done by jaywalker, as it cuts the space out of the pictures, though shadows look a lil' odd, but I dont think them interefering with the overall scenery. Secondly framing is killing it too.

Bonjour Irina et merci d'être passée me voir même si ma galerie n'a rien à voir avec celle de Sébastien.

A mon tour de jeter un oeil à la tienne et de manière très honnête je trouve toute tes photos superbes, ce qui est rarement le cas des autres membre de TE dont j'ai pu voir l'intégralité des débuts...

Tes photos d'animaux sont superbes, comme celles de paysages au coucher du soleil.

J'avoue un petit faible pour celle-ci par le jeu des contrastes de couleurs, la scène, le jeu des ombres, ... je la trouve très intéressante.

The same thing when you composed, you are putting a part of you. But I'm not sure about your shadow Irina. Unless it is the subject.

I'd recommend, the next time you are shooting with a scene something like this, find a shadow you can move into. I see shadow on your right which you could take advantage of.
