having travelled many hours from ngorongoro we reach..at last..the 'start' of the serengeti..for humans anyway..
a brief stop here and we see storks in the fields from the scandinavian countries and swifts about in the insect laden air..
we jump up into the land cruisers and off we go for pastures anew with a bounty of creation with every hour of the next stage towards olduvai.
