A very characteristic east African shot, Figen. It brings back memories from my visit there almost 20 years ago! The light is rather bland because it's midday, but the atmosphere comes through clearly. Regards, Ken.

Merhaba Figen,

Bu hakikaten muhtesem bir tablo, TE'ye resim gönderen yeni ahbablarim Amerikayi, Avrupayi, ve Asyayi taniyorlar. Ben de oralarda bulundum. Fakat bir Masai köyünden böyle bir resim beni hayran içinde brirakti. Kompozyisyon, renkler harika. Bir ufak agaçin gölgesinden faydalanan bir Masai warrior. Solda iki keçi arka ayaklarina kalkmislar. Adam da leylek gibi tek ayagi uzerinde, öbür ayagi dizinde.

(I apologize some of the characters in Turkish don't function on my keyboard, nor does does my mind sometimes). I've lived in the United States since I was thirteen.

An interesting shot.....I would like it a bit wider to show a bit more of the surrounding landscape.

I hope you also have the close up shots of these men and animals .....the portraits and men/animal juxtupositions from close rage would give us a feel for the personalities of the men.

lovely African scene in warm tonalities, i really think that the red on the shepherd gives the image a special touch. Great composition!

HI Figen,

I wondered what are you doing Tanzania. The picture that you have posted during that time is surely attractive. Maybe I like Africa myself with the natives and wild environment that differs from city lifes.
