They look like they are embracing. I love the organic twisted lines of the branches, and the comosition with the road in the center and then twisting off... I have a place in my heart for photos of African trees and roads and lovely empty places, this is no exception.

Those trees are very picturesque indeed and you took good profit of that to make a great photo. I like also the sense of depth given by curbed dirt road, the covered sky and the aridness of the fields, all of that gives a very "African savana" atmosphere.
