[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is likely to be the last post of my scanned images – at least in a long time – and it surely will be the last post before my next travel as I will leave in a few hours! I will all see you back in March with a new series!

I have been awing at nature when I was in Tanzania many, many times. The safari around lake Manyara is such an incredible experience; I almost deemed myself to be a female version of “Crocodile Dundee”.
When you are confronted with this amazing wildlife you can only feel on top of the world.
The colours of this place is exceptional and when you observe the animals in their natural habitat from so close by, you sometimes wonder if this is all for real; it's simply awesome!

Elephant spotting is not exactly an art - they are very present for obvious reasons - but I still find it amazing that they walk so gracefully as if they are showing off their beauty like a model on the catwalk.

just wish you cropped a bit from the top and included more of the yellow foreground;

Great shot of this incredible place. It has always been a dream of mine to visit the wildlife of Africa, and this shot is very evocative of the place, at least as I imagine it would be. Congratulations on your trip, and thank you for sharing the photos (more please!).

Dag Sabine,

ik weet niet of je dit nog zult lezen voor je vertrek (dacht dat je gisteren al vertrokken was) : de olifanten staan in fantastisch contrast met hun donkere kleur ten opzichte van alle andere lichtere kleuren. Net een scène uit een film. Deze foto moet (als mijn voorspelling zoals vorige week uitkomt...) een kaskraker moeten worden. Hij komt bij mij alleszins bij de favorieten.

it's amazing how some sensations awaken with just a sight, a sound, a perfume. Everybody after a trip trip to Africa will never forget this strong nature, the early morning spent in just watching, just wondering...

Some parts might be yellowish but the total image is great
