Wow Sabine, what a fantastic shot! Not that i am so surprised, but this is really good. The light is so lovely and I like that the rhinos are going one way and the zebras are going another. Beautiful scenery.

I find your shot amazing! The grain gives a warm feeling taht suits well the scene. Colors are beautiful and animals are well captured in there "daily life" ;) Besides, the framing is perfectly chosen with a tree and a rhinoceros in each side of the picture clsing the scene. Brilliant! Maybe there is too much luminosity on the center of the pic and not enough on the sides but, at the same time it helps focusing the eye on the action "the zebras and rhino meeting..." :o)

C'est vraiment magnifique. Mon safari en Tanzanie est un de mes meilleurs souvenirs d'Afrique.
Ici, les couleurs sont magnifiquement accentuées et la confrontation entre zèbres et rhinocéros vraiment étonnante.

The saturated colours give a special glow to your image... something like an old painting. The barren background strongly in contrast with the vivid green of the ground are a great scene for this endless meeting.

Damn....Sabine, this is a good one!! I remember this place as if it was yesterday :)

What a light on the crater. Beautiful view of the animals. Great composed with the tree to the left and all the animals spread out.

I think the name of the crater is Ngorongoro.

I agree with you - safari is an experience you never forget!!

salut sabine,
merci de cette photo qui me rappelle un sacré souvenir de ce fabuleux cratère c'etait en février 2005 juste avant de faire le kili, une réserve fabuleuse ou tous les animaux vivent dans un lieu idylique (enfin pour nous) je n'ai pas eu la chance d'approcher de prés les rhino et je n'avais pas le zoom approprier 28/80 et f65, belles couleurs saturées et bon cadrage

To start off. I like the earthly texture of the elements in this photo .... the vegeatation in its pristine settings ...
the lonely tree on the left adds a good excitement and the zebras and rhinos add the drama ....
oh well I hope you will understand what I am trying to convey here because when I read what I have written I cannot understand myself ... lols
anyways what I mean to say is that I loved this photo

Ça fait un bout que je veux venir voir ta gallerie! Eh bien, me voici! Cette photo est simplement magique! Il y a une superbe lumière sur cette végétation! Du plus beau doré qui soit! Ta composition est excellente, avec l'arbre à l'extrême gauche et ce rhinocéros à l'extrême droite. Et cette rencontre des deux espèces, c'est définitivement un moment décisif! Great shot! I like the composition, with the tree in background on left and the rhino on right setting the bordersfor the scene in the middle. Detail/sharpness is not 100% - sas a long telephoto lens used? I can imaging why!

une tres jolie gallerie et ta série Tanzanienne est sincerement superbe. J'ai pris celle ci au milieu des autres pour son coté sursaturé, ce 50/50 qui ne laisse pas de place pour le ciel, ce cadrage particulier avec cet arbre seul et cette si impressionnate faune.
tu l'auras compris: j'aime beaucoup.

I liked ur photo "seeking wisdom" so i thought of looking at your other photos. This one i stopped at..its AMAZING.
Its like everything was positioned perfectly in the shot, the rhino's, zebras mountains in the background and even the tree of the far left side.

j'aime beaucoup cette photo, les rhinos qui vont dans un sens et les zèbres dans l'autre; elles ont toujours l'air un peu 'banales' ces photos car pas mal dencyclopédies en publient, mais il n'empêche que tout le monde rêve de voir tout cela en vrai.
