When I arrived in the capital of Tanzania, Dar Es Salaam, I was quit surprised. It was my first contact with that part of Africa and this capital city is actually very village like - which is nice really. When you wander around in some side streets your really don't have a city feeling, but rather a developed village feeling. The street vendors colour the streets and a fruit seller is never far away. This young man was using his bike as a fruit stall to sell his mangos. I can only recommend the fruit there as I have never tasted any fruit sweeter than the ones I ate in Tanzania and Zanzibar.

Beautiful picture ! Perhaps a little more light in the face of the salesman would allow us to see his full expression.
Anyway, congratulations and thanks for the note. I will try the mangos if I go there.
Regards

Hey Sabine,
zo te zien, fruit in overvloed daar in Dar Es Salaam. Ben zelf nooit zo ver geweest, moet een ganse belevenis zijn, die andere culturen en bevolking. Mooie fruitkleuren en bonte mensen, stemmig geheel.
Groeten ... Tars

Dag Sabine,
This is a very colorful photo, showing a street corner bustling with sellers and buyers. A well composed photo as you have not wasted any space. I like the mood of this picture, as it has a bit of happy mood to it. I like it a lot. Good shot. Beh.

I like the "slice of life" feel to this image, Sabine. The depth of field is well chosen here, for I can still see things quite good to the background, but it is not sharp back there, giving focus to the foreground. I will certainly go to Zanzibar one day and taste the fruits!

Sabine, I really like this photo. A nice portrait of how the real life in Tanzanian streets looks like.
Excellent colors with great DOF.
