[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Many of the Masai habitants of Ngorongoro used to live in Serengeti for generations.
They lived together with the wild animals in harmony but than, one day, because of tourism and international pressure, the government of Tanzania decided to declare Serengeti as a national park, and the Masai had to leave their land. Nowadays they live around Ngorongoro crater. They lost their land, but in some other ways their conditions are quite better. They get a water supply from the government, and each village also got a communication device to be able to make emergency calls.

What a nice and sharp shot of this masais, Alon. The different colours of the field and mountains made a nice contrast with the colourful Masais on the foreground. Well done.
Greets .. Tars

good compo and interesting note = good TE picture :)

Good composition! The picture is able to represent the human drama of the Masai people as they struggle in their day to day life. The picture of the kid facing the camera could have been more effective if the eyes were seen clearly. But overall, it's a marvelous shot!

Hi ALon,
THis is National Geographic Material,
The photo ilustrates very well the note. Great contrast between their colorufl costumes and the coutnryside behind them/

Bonjour Alon, Cette photo me rapporte des excellents souvenirs! You truly have achieved an excellent image, the sharpness is outstanding and the contrast of colours between the foreground and the background is simply excellent. The photo also has great human interest which is well reflected in your note. Outstanding work! Bravo! Sabine

Nice note Alon, and a fantastic photo to document this story. everything looks perfect.

Hi Alon,

What a nice image. You managed to get all the best of Tanzania.....animal, people and the nature.

Just perfect!!

:-) Tina

Hi Alon
J'aime vraiment ce cadrage avec ces regards qui se dispersent et le splendide paysage derriere.
Les couleurs sont tres belles.
Amicalement
Bertrand

a very nice image Alon,
I like the way you kept your subject on the left of the frame, letting us see the landscape and the herd of goats..

Hi Alon,
It's a very beautiful picutre. I like this Masai girl with his brother or children in this landscape with the animals. there are many contrasts in this picture.
Congratulations,
Seb

Bien vu

Hi Alon,
I really like this image, for the composition first, with the Masai in foreground, then the animals, and the moutains behind.
Colors are very nice too, great contrast between the red clothes and the smooth colors in the background. A pity that we do not wee the face of the little boy, but it is great however !

Hello Alon,
the only thing I could say about this nice picture is : why you didn't use the fill flash to highlight those persons. The background is perfecly exposed and really beautiful and it is contrast very well with the colorful clothes.
Cheers
Luan

PS 1 : I have udpated the title and my note
PS 2 : green later

I picked this out of your favourites gallery. The composition is excellent. The colours of the children's clothes are so vivid and contrast well with the background scenery.
