| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
The best way to make a safari is with a 4x4 jeep with open roof. It allows you to stand inside the vehicle with your head outside, while watching those outstanding scenes and taking photos.
Sometimes you find yourself very close to some danger species, but than you think about what your guide told you; animals see the vehicle as single massive unit, so they won’t try to attack.
Anyway, when there is a large lioness just on top of your head, looking at you and giving you mouth-watering expression, it can be a stressful situation.
You can find the non-cropped version as a workshop. |

hi alon;
very good composition, good job.
bu kedileri cok seviyorum, cok tatli hayvanlar....
Shalom Alon,
Nicely shown details, too bad the lioness is covered by a shadow, but her licking expression is great, I think cropping the image to make it rectangular would work well as the lioness would be displaced to the right.
Otherwise very nice photo. Have you been to Patagonia?
Regards
Daniel
Increible toma felina. La imagen de la leona relamiendose posada en el arbol augura que ha detectado una presa. Buena composicion.
Saludos hasta pronto
I am still not sure about the sharpness in this pic. Looks like the focus is just behind the animal. I liek the framing in hte loggs. Did you just erase my last comments?

It looks very close even with a telezoom, Alon
I hope it was just finishing the dinner and not looking at you as a starter.
I’m always impressed with these wild pictures (I have not been there yet) but I realize it not easy to take picture under these have situation.
Too bad the picture is not perfectly sharp on the lion it self (but probably with all the excitement and the adrenalin this is the last thing you think of)
Ps
Did you have to drive long before seeing any lions?
Looking forward to see more of your pictures
