Photographer’s Note
I am not much of a beach person, but I loved the beaches in Zanzibar. The daily life of this beautiful island is mainly centered on the beaches; which is very interesting to watch. I captured a moment of a few young children who were trying to carry home more cans of water than they had hands: Difficult decision. In the background some of the fathers are preparing a boat to go out fishing.
I found it also interesting that the threatening sky, did not disturb any of these peaceful activities.
The photo is slightly cropped to cut out too much sand in the front.

very good capture of this daily ife activity. The colors are very interesting. I also like how you chose to center the main subjects, with scattered boats in the background.
cheers!

really great photo. it's like a painting... you could however still level the horizon, and apply sharpness on this one ...

Hi Sabine,
I agree with all others that this is really good daily life shot where you've captured all this activities. And the beach with its white sand and emerald sea must be fantastic.
