Photographer’s Note

A rural mountain area in Tanzania.
These women are on their way home from washing their clothes in the river. While I could hardly move my feet in comfortable sneakers because of the humid heat; they walk barefoot, they are fast and sing along happily. The youngest girl even has time to look behind and smile at this exhausted stranger, who just has enough energy to shoot this colourful picture.

beau cadrage
j'aime le regard de la jeune fille qui se retourne pour voir ce que tu fais
dommage que la photographie ne soit pas très nette

Lovely shot Sabine. Strong colours, good composition. Has a candid feel to it. The girl looking back really adds something to the picture.

Hi Sabine! I like this group of ladies. Nice colors dressed. I also noticed sometimes how people are able to walk barefeet, for me it is also unpossible to try!
