[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
One of those moments when nature makes you feel so very small.... Late afternoon rays of light illuminating open plains on the edge of the Serengeti, the silence disturbed only by a herd of cattle. The land and the sky seemed to go on forever.......

Slight saturation only. Had some difficulty with lighting and exposure...I would appreciate input on this one.

Vey difficult situation to get nicely balanced colors, you're taking the picture against the light. You could have tried a slight underexposition or a faster shutter speed. But than you loose detail in the foreground. Anyway, I like the composition and the mood of this shot.

Wow Karina! A beautifull picture!! And what a great feeling of Freedom and Space it represents!!! I guess Some parts of Australia are very similar to this beautifull place...:) I love it!! I miss the nature very much...

very nicely done!

It is not everyday that one gets to see something as beautiful as this. Indeed, nature has its way of bowling you over. Inspite of the difficult light, you did pretty well.

I get to see similar sights from airplanes where bands of sunlight fall on the earth through holes in the clouds and make for great photo ops. But unfortunately the Indian govt has a bizzare rule that prohibits photography on all domestic flights.

Wow, this is a fantastic photo. The Sun light makes the scene dramatic. I like the herd you have included into this picture, which gives us the comparison of the sizes.
