When I remember back these many flights I’ve taken in the past, there is nothing else than the spectacular views of the world below the airplane that remain in my memory; views which we are not able to see from the ground.
Enjoy the view of the world outside the airplane window as I've seen and captured it with my camera.
I’ve taken this photo during flight from Nairobi to Dar es Salaam (on board of Swiss International Airlines Airbus 330-200 airplane) from an altitude of 13,000 m a.s.l.
You can see Mt. Kilimanjaro with relatively small snow/ice cover on the summit and snow/ice cover on the summit and beautiful blue crater lake.
Mt. Kilimanjaro, with its three volcanic cones, Kibo (the highest peak-5,985m), Mawenzi (5,149m), and Shira (3,962m), is a dormant volcano in Kilimanjaro National Park, Tanzania and the highest mountain in Africa at 5,895m.

This place I can't see even from the air... lucky we have TE to show places alike.
The clearity is more than just good - taken from a plane, this is the best possible, and the view is fascinating.
Have a nice evening,

You are right, these are scenes that you can gain from no other aspect. I really like how the aeroplane frames the distant mountain in such a novel way.
A shot like this is no good if you have vertigo!
Have a lovely day,

There really is no comparison for the type of view and dimension we get from flying. A world renown and impressive mountain regardless of how it's photographed, but this type of look from high above really puts it into perspective! Much like flying over the Grand Canyon, you get a true sense of its grandeur on full display. To be above the clouds gives this an entirely new look and feel, and an impressive one at that! Another lovely picture taken at altitude. with a rather clear view through the window. :) Thanks for sharing this wonder of the world. Have a great day.
All the best,

Wonderful series about what you saw from an airplane windows, Miro.
The Kilimanjaro is known to be loosing it's snowy cup, slowly but surely, pitty, but global-warming is evident.
I enjoy this sight very much, as said not visible from ground, and not many of us fly there - that's TE mission par-excellence.
Enjoy your weekend,

The distance between the aircraft and the volcano is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the volcano. A good management of the light which is making the colors to stand out. Have a nice day.
