Photographer's Note
Zanzibar is an island in the Indian Ocean, East of Africa.
It is an autonomous part of Tanzania with its own parliament. In fact, the name "Tan-zania" comes from the union of the mainland, Tanganyika with the island of Zanzibar in 1964.
Zanzibar used to be the seat of the historical Oman State and the centre of African slavery. Arabic influence is all over the place, the religion being one of them. Zanzibar is 99% muslim.
I took this shot on the way to Michamvi Beach on the eastern shore of the island. Cropped, increased sharpness, shades, saturation and contrast, applied retouches.
ISO 100, 200mm, f/5.0, 1/125.

Hello Erdem - You have captured the landscape of Zanzibar really well in this shot, the towering palms and lush green foliage with the much repaired road running through it brings back fond memories. Of course the bicyles are almoct iconic on the island. Didn't you think the east coast was fabulous? Best regards Rosemary

Hello Erdem!
Very nice and interesting picture!
Sharpness, exposure, chosen pov, dof, colors, vertical format, contrasts and composition are all excellent and truly pleased me!
The details of the road, the bikers in their daily routine and all that vegetation surrounding them are very attractive!
TFS - congrats,
Cheers,
Neyvan

Salut Erdem,
What a picturesque set-up!
Excellent point of view where the curvy road introduces us into your image while bringing a good dose of dynamism. You've obtained a pretty clear and sharp image for such a wide aperture, and the cyclist coming towards us seem perfectly frozen despite 1/125 seconds, a relatively slow shutter speed for a fast moving object coming down a hill.
I like the way the trees create an amphitheatre enveloping your subjects.
A nice photo that conveys tropical mood and laid back attitude.
Cheers!
André

Hello Erdem,
Very beautiful in the vertical format with the small but very high palm trees of which the foliage is so dense on top that it's almost like a natural roof.
I also like the humorous title.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Erdem,
This is a nice composition with a very suitable vertical shape. I like the two persons going in different directions, giving life and colours to the picture.
Regards,
Gert
