Photographer's Note

A daily life scene from the Kendwa beach.
The beach Kendwa is located in the northwest of Zanzibar.
Thin and white sand, turquoise waters and emerald shades, coconut palms that give a pleasant shade: Kendwa is a really beautiful beach, at sunset is colored by warm pastel shades.
In Kendwa there are some resorts to stay, there are many bars and clubs but have fun anyway, to find other places you can reach the nearby Nungwi.

GIOCANDO SULLA SPIAGGIA.
Una scena di vita quotidiana dalla spiaggia di kendwa.
La spiaggia di Kendwa si trova nella parte nord occidentale di Zanzibar.
Sabbia finissima e bianca, acque dalle sfumature turchesi e smeraldo, palme da cocco che regalano una piacevole ombra: Kendwa è una spiaggia veramente bella, che al tramonto si colora di calde sfumature pastello.
A Kendwa ci sono alcuni resort in cui soggiornare, non ci sono tantissimi bar e locali ma ci si diverte comunque, per trovare altri locali si può raggiungere la vicina Nungwi.

ciao Luciano,
a mio parere la più bella finora di quelle della Tanzania.
In questa foto c'e' tutto dall'occhio del fotografo alla scena davvero deliziosa con le bambine che stanno per uscire da una parte e la barca che bilancia dall'altra.
I colori mi piacciono molto per la loro brillantezza e rendono al meglio l'idea di questo piccolo paradiso.

Bellissimo questo contrasto tra il mare turchese e queste due bambine che giocano sulla spiaggia nei loro abiti arancione.
La composizione è bene equilibrata tra i bambini e la barca.

belli i colori pastello....e bello il contrasto tra i bimbi che "cazzeggiano" ed i "vecchi" pescatori che si fanno un mazzo tanto.

bellissime le bambine che giocano su questa spiaggia candida. Le hai fatte vestire apposta di giallo per dare maggior risalto alla foto? Scherzo naturalmente, ma nella tua foto c'è veramente ogni elemento di bello. La sabbia candida, le bimbe, il mare azzurro turchese, la barca, la costa lontana. bellissima composizione, colori splendidi.

Queste bambine ancora ignare della vita...giocano sulla spiaggia. E' un loro privilegio. Forse non sanno che il padre e lo zio, che tornano a riva, non hanno pescato un bel nulla. E che quella sera si mangerà solo pane e non certo pesce. Ma la gioiosa inconsapevolezza é una virtù dell'infanzia.

Zanzibar ..ed ancora ricordi e racconti giovanili.
Queste foto sembrano un po riflettere i gusti afro-oceanici di Paul Gauguin ...Luoghi colori e atmosfere che condizionano anche te in maniera palpabilissima ...sembri lontanissimo dal "baillame" (in senso buono , ma reale di TE che vivo.
Perfino le tue critiche ance se in apparenza pungenti sono essenziali vanno al centro.

fotografare l'acqua dalla spiaggia non e' mai facile perche' a mio avvico spesso i risultati sono molto piu' piatti di come appaiono nella realta'. Non pero' in questo caso, dove sei riuscito a mostrarci decine di azzurri. Mi piace anche la composizione un po' poco ortodossa (con la barca che se ne va a sinistra e le bimbe che se ne escono a destra), ma molto naturale ed efficace.
Complimenti, hai vinto (non che valga nulla...) l'iscrizione alle mie favorite.

I don't know what to say. I just have a feeling that I am there. The picture is of superb quality. It seems so clear and sharp as if I could just jump into the water. Incredible effect: both the children and the fishermen are almost three-dimensional, really sticking out of the picture. And they are so natural too.
And the colors are like from a dream too.

Olá Luciano, great capture of local life in paradise. The hues of the water are atractive and the clothes of the girls make a wonderful contrast of color. Perfect balance of composition with the traditional boat passing by in the opposite corner.
