absoluetly stunning, Tobias, i am as jealous as anything, I have been after a good close up shot of a leopard for years to add to the others of the big five I have.

Hi Tobias,
Really great capture, and some beautiful colours and good to have captured it mid stride which I think adds to the image.
I can't help but feel the photo's been cropped a little too close to either end of the leopard, and think it may have looked better with a little bit more of space at either end of the leopards body, but the panoramic format works well.
Thanks for sharing!

nase an. alles gute & viele grüße, thor.

Hello Toba,
You had good closeness of the Leopard under the bright sunlight which brings good sharpness, wonderful colour and details on the big cat, I think you should include more of the surrounding if not the subject will be too center in the composition! hope you do not mind! but still is a nice image
cheers
Tony

Hi Toba,

Mark

Hello Tobias,

A first rate shot of the fastest land animal on earth! When I was in high school (a very long time ago), I remember writing a paper on mimicry in nature, about how some animals have evolved coloration to fade into their backgrounds. Your image is especially effective for showing mimicry in nature. If hope you don't regard it as meddling, but I'm posting a ws to show how much more visible the cheetah becomes when the contrast and more color saturation is performed.

Warm regards,

Bulent

hi Tobias

Hi Tobias,
You have a gallery with very attractive but dangerous photos as well.
How could you capture this amazing cat walk scene? His tail curled , feets on walking position, head looking right up... And all with a wonderful clearity...
I like the widescreen-like framing putting the animal inside and keeping whole attention on him..
Congrats,
Burcu

ps. I won't have chance for showing this one to mom until next monday. But I am quite sure she will love this one too :)

Hallo Tobias. Wirklich beeindruckend. Ein sehenswertes Photo. Viele Grüße, Wolfgang.

Tobias,
lucky you to have the fastest animal of the planet walking slowly and so elegant by your car and giving you the opportunity to have such nice cloe-up shot. But, IMHO I thing that the frame is to tight around the animal. You need to give more space for the poor animal and gives almost the impression of being in a cage. At least more space to the left where the animal is walking to to provide the feeling that the cat has space to walk.

Oh this is masterpiece, so many details and so clear shot! Great colors and this supermodel is supermodel indeed, :)

I think I said before how lucky you were to see a leopard so close. The detail you have captured is superb. From reading your note I imagine you were at the wide end of the lens and this accounts for the tight framing. I've said to others a few times that what you need on safari is at least two cameras with different lenses attached. In a perfect world you would have a wider lens to give the leopard some space. Nevertheless that is just nit-picking as this is amazing. Well done
Kath
I think some people are confusing this with a cheetah. :)

WOW! These colors and the sharpness are stunning!!! A beautiful picture! TFS

Very nice wildlife capture of this beautiful animal. Im sure others have mentioned the tight framing near his head. Oh well, its such a great catch to have of the leopard all the same.
:)Dave.

hey there, tobias

very nice shot, my friend. the leopard in its pure beauty minding its own business. for my own taste, i would have preferred a tad more space for it to run into. but that's me ;)

Hello Tobias,

This is formidable done man, with a great quality and sharpness.
I would little bit more place before the muzzle of the Leopard late, but I find the photograph very lovely, great work again.
Very well done, thanks for sharing.

Have a nice sunday,
John.

Hey ToBa,
Kris

As I said before, you are lucky to have seen this beautiful leopard so close up and have captured this image this good with so much detail and sharpness. The feature of this leopard is so incredible. Congratulation on both having seen it and photographed it so well.

Trotzdem gut gelungen.
