I'm surprised no body has commented on this yet.
The shot is beautifuly in focus. Not too sure if the cactus (?) is overly distracting or not. Still, I like the way both the bird & the plant are drawing your attention to the right side of the image.

Everything blends nicely together, almost to nice. I think the blur area is to blurred, it's quite impossible to tell what's behind the bird. Very nice shot of this naive-looking bird though...

This is a superb one! Crisp where it should be and vague in the background. Beautiful details and colors. Not sure I like the foreground. I suppose you had no other choice. But it also accompanies the bird looking on his left... so it has a some reason to be there. Really a beautiful shot.
