[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
We weren't doing any game drive.
Just driving from Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conversation Area.

And here they were.
Just by the road under a tree.
Six lions: one male, three females and two cubs.

And this lady was looking at me.

Hi Aysegul, A lovely photo of a lovely lady, nice POV & frameing, it's a shame the eyes are different colours but that might be natural, great capture anyway, kind regards Wilson.

Merhaba Aysegul Hanım,
This is a wonderful portrait of the lioness, seemingly pensive but what is she pensive about. Great portraits of people by the Master's -- including the Mona Lisa -- are always open ended (and with Leonardo I am especially sensitive), and you in this unusualy insightful photo have been very successful.
Regards from Virginia,

Hi Aysegul,
great portrait!
Lovely POV and good framing!
Well done!
Best wishes,
Veronica

Nice portrait - sharpness, colors and details. The look is mysterious like a Sphinx. What she is thinking about? Perhaps "C'mon guys, step out of your Land Rover"? Cheers - Vilius

Thanks for sharing
Best regards

Indeed, a portrait of a lady, and a nice one.
Is it just the lightfall..or is her lefteye darker than her right one? Anyway, good portrait. Good you could came close enough to reach this shot with the zoom. Sharpness is fine. Colour natural and not too vivid, which wouldn't fit I think.
Funny those hairs from her ears..bad hair day.

Good weekend & Greetings,
Emiel.

Hi Aysegul
The lion (Panthera leo) is a mammal of the family Felidae and one of four "big cats" in the genus Panthera. The lion is the second largest cat, after the tiger. The male lion, easily recognized by his mane, weighs between 150-250 kg (330-550 lb). Females range 120-150 kg (260-330 lb).[2] In the wild, lions live for around 10–14 years, while in captivity they can live over 20 years. Though they were once found throughout much of Africa, Asia and Europe, lions presently exist in the wild only in Africa and India.

Beatifull one you choose to shot
Well done
Regards

Beautiful! I did a little adjustment with hue/saturation. I've never seen a lion in the wild, so I'm not sure the adjustment is true-to-life or not.

Great shot!

Remarkable portrait with your Powershot. Couldn't have captured a better shot with a more powerful camera. The lion shows some battle scars and this was a lucky find for you.
