Photographer’s Note

When we visited a massai village we also saw a massai school with small students they showed us their english skills and was singing a song for us.When I saw this child I felt very sorry for him his skin was very row and I dont know what illnes he on the mouth has.I took a picture as a memory.Hope you like this shot

Ein gutes Portrait des Jungen mitschüchternem aber unschuldigen Blick.Schöner Kontrast der dunklen Hauttöne mit dem farbenfrohen Stoff.Auch technisch ist es sehr ansprechend.

on voit malheureusement trop souvent la misere du monde.Hélas.La photo est bien prise,et la tristesse de l'enfant est visible.

I was away for a couple of weeks, sorry to miss a few of your really nice images. I like this one, it shows the very difficulf daily life of the Massai people. It's not a pretty image to look at, but that a fact for this children. Wonderful detail and sharpness. Great daily life image. TFS my friend.

Gute Portrait...ausdrucksstark. Auch gutes pp, wirkt immer noch realistisch.
Du hast das Kind im genau richtigen Moment fotografiert...gut!
Vielleicht (?) wäre es besser gewesen, wenn der Kopf noch ganz drauf wäre und du eine größere Blendenöffnung gewählt hättest. Aber trotzdem echt gelungen!

It looks like a nasty infection he has. The quality of the image is very good with excellent detail captured. Even the texture on his clothing shows up well. Are you sure it's a boy? Even the girls had the same hairstyle.

das finde ich ein bisschen dumm an dieser ansonsten genialen Seite. Dieses Bild zweigt uns wirklich was über die Welt und kriegt fast keine Beachtung. Ein sehr starkes Portät, super Ausdruckskraft. Was das Kind wohl hat? Keine Ahnung, aber die Ausdruckskraft ist klasse, Farben und Schärfe einwandfrei!

Even with all of his problems I must add him to my adorable kids theme, because thats exactly what he is. Its very heartbreaking, but I would love to just cuddle this little guy (must be the grandmother in me). An excellent portrait that speaks volumns!! TFS

Hi Tobias - Shelly just recommended you as a photographer to look out for and I must say i really like the plain reality of this portrait very much and the crispness of many of your other images - this one here is such a natural image - beautiful detail with perhaps a little loss of colour and detail on the necklace but the expression is so soulful.
