This place is very close to this in the serengeti np.I really liked the different landscapes there sometimes jungle sometimes just long wide field and sometimes like in this picture some rocks with a lot of agamas(reptiles)
Also some lions are relaxing there between some bushes or trees.
Hope you like this shot some minutes before the rain.
Best regards
Toba

Bonjour Tobias,
une photo fantastique pour l'ambiance qu'elle projette sur mon écran. Un ciel douteux et moins lumineux que le sol, ce qui crée un effet interessant.
Des couleurs fortes et séduisantes et un cadrage qui équilibre bien la scène.
Regards.
Daniel.

Hello Tobias,

Contrasts between rocks and dark sky are really eye-popping. Perfectly balanced parts as same its clarity, colors and sharpness. Very good one, congratulations.

Best Regards,

Ertugrul

It's wonderful, Toba.
Such a simple and eye catching compostion. Beautiful light, excellent contrast and I love those rich, well saturated colors. I particularly like the way there is nothing behind the two larger rocks but that great sky. I like the bit of green shrubbery, too, in front of the stones. Great shot!! Thanks and take care,
Shelly

Hello Tobias,

I love this shot featuring superb composition, vivid colors and textures, and a genuinely sharp resolution. The combination of earthy colors in the ground and rocks, the lush vegetation and the brilliant blue of the sky. Absolutely first rate shot.

Warm regards,

Bulent

Hi Tobias,

Hallo Tobias,
This place looks like the Devlis Marbles in Australie. Very photogenic rock formations and you made something real nice from it in this vertical composition. The deep colour setting is something i like, but also the play with the green bush in the foreground against that yellow/golden light on the rocks...very nice.
Regards, Henk

Hello Toba,
wonderful simple composition with gorgeous light, nice warm tones and perfect sharpness.
Bravo
Best regards
Romana

Hello Toba,
A fine composition under a wonderful light. The vertical format is well chosen to emphasise the rocks against the intense blue sky. Superb tones and clarity.

The pre-rain light has given you some wonderful saturated colours. Nicely composed image with the three rocks and three bushes making it work well. Well done

Hi Tobias,

One would say the landscape of another planet !!! I like much contrasts here. I think that there is to have strong rain to see this so gray sky. In all the cases this sky makes it possible to emphasize well the pretty color of these rocks and the environment. Beautiful and interesting glance Tobias, cheer.

With all my friendships and very good Sunday,

Hi, Toba -

A nice simple (or simple-seeming) landscape that works well both as a representation of the area and as a dramatic photo in its right - the threatening sky, the almost-threatening rocks, the creative use of lighting. Nicely done!

Best,
Dan

I like it Tobias,
this is a very good landscape shot of yours, fantastic colours, good contrast and fine shot, I like this much more then your last Lion. good photojob, have a nice evening.
gr. jaap

Hi, Tobias. The rocks are an important element in your composition and the low POV you've chosen brings out the one on the left very well against the sky. The contrasts are well marked. Maybe I would have included a little more grass in the bottom of the picture to create a diagonal line in the foreground.

Achim

Howdy Toba!
Amazing lightness. Very nice colors. Original sharpness.
Good take.
TFS!

Hallo Toba,
Nice rocks, it looks much like the devil's pebbles in Australia's NT and the stormy light adds mucg value to this image, did you consider a horizontal framing as well ?
Have a nice day JY

Hello!
Beautiful composition, lovely colours and good sharpness.
Greetings
Tadeusz

Hi Tobias,
Great light on the rocks while the sky, so dark, offers a good contrast.
I am surprised by the form of the rocks.Your pov makes me fear that the rock on the top is going to roll down :s
Well done!
Regards,
Marianne

schöne felsen toba, das licht ist klasse ! vielleicht wäre es noch besser gewesen etwas mehr von dem gras unten zu zeigen und dafür etwas himmel zu kappen ! dennoch klasse

daniel

hallo Tobias

wonderful light here! sun + stormy skies are almost a winner in a landscape. almost feels as if the sun was "biting" a chunk ouf ot the scenery. i like the curved lead-in formed by the greenery and the way you have placed the stones. excellent shot, friend!

with warm regars,

Hallo Tobias!
Magisches Licht, tolle Farben, perfekte Komposition.

Yes, I love it. The low light hitting the rocks really brings out the orange colors, and the deep blue sky in the background contrasts very nicely. I thought this must have been a photo of Devils Marbles in Australia when I first saw it. Great capture.

Ryan

The stones have a great contrast against the dark overcast sky. The colours, deep & saturated work well, with the green foliage in the FG as well. Well done

Kindest regards,
Athanasios.

hi Tobias,
Beautiful shot from Serengeti, the colors and contrasts are beautiful!
Bravo,
Hubert.

Hello Tobias
I like your gallery lots, you have a great range in your gallery from action shots, nature, portraits and good old landscapes. I like this, the lighting is superb with a very wise POV chosen. The colour and shadows are spot on with the rocks very interesting to look at. The moody skies finish the scene of perfectly.
Well done
Regards
Jim

Hi again

I also like this one.
Sky's presence is really strong, and you had choose a good framing with thoses boulders on the ground, specifically the left one, higher than the others.
Good job

Alexis
