This two zebras are defending themselves wiht looking for animals.
One zebra looks in the direction the other can´t see so they look for enemys like lions cheetahs or leopard.
feather´s shot is very similiar to hope you like and can give me some hints.

two lovely zebras like a couple

Hallo Tobias,
The deep black lines over the Zebra's are beautiful, looks they were fresh painted this morning ;-)
A nice pose we always see to support each other...eyes in the back so to speak. I like your tight composition and framing, shows exactly what's important...very good.
Regards, Henk

Bonjour Toba,
Best regards.
Daniel.

Hello Tobias

Hi Tobias,

One moment of nap on the defensive... These two zebras are detached very well from the background. I like much the quality of the image in particular clearness and good exposure. Beautiful and interesting work Tobias.

With all my friendships and a very good evening,

Jean-Charles

Also, freu mich auf weitere Fotos aus Tansania, keep them coming!

Hallo Tobias. Was will man mehr. Es ist ein schönes und sehenswertes Photo. Viele Grüße, Wolfgang.

Hello Tobias,
Super!
Best regards

Tobias,
you are asking for any hints to take a better shot for your next trip to Tanzania? Well, the truth is that you already nailed it this time. No need to go back! The composition is a classic one and you did it very good with the tight frame, focusing on the two zebras blending in. Did you also try to get a close up abstract where you can only see the stripes of the two zebras and nothing else of the surrounding?
Peter

High Toba, great photo again.
I always wondered why they have such a color. Lions are disappearing in the yellowish growings, but why zebras are so contrastish? Great photo and it seems to be quite a journey that you had.

Hi Tobias,
Excellent shot! Beautiful colors, superb light and sharpness. Best wishes.
Greetings.
Ahmet

Salut Tobias!
Emilius

It is wonderful to see the zebras in this pose. It certainly makes good material for a photograph. The technical quality is excellent too. Well done
Kath

Hi, Tobias. A very sharp picture of these splendid animals. You've chosne a tight framing, but left enough space to the right and left. I appreciate the fact that we can see some other animals grazing in the background. They also bring another range of tones in the image.

Hi Tobias,
I have no hints, as I can't see what could be better done, either aesthetic wise or technique wise. It's a extraordinary wild life shot, with great clarity and perfect DOF. You show not only the zebras but also the neighbouring antelopes.
Congratulations!
Regards, José.

Hello Tobias
Another fascinating wildlife shot. Looks like the female on the right is a would be mother zebra. Have you a closeup of just the stripes?...would be interested to see that shot. Very good work!

Hello Tobias,
Robert

Fantastic moment, I love this zebra pose, and a nice green background, I have also uploaded a similar shot years ago, but with a very dry background and under a harsh light.

Hi Tobias
MfG Rapha

Hi Tobias,
Lovely shot, it is so tender! It would have been perfect to illustrate Valentine Day ;-)
I like the depth of field you choose.
Well done! Regards,
Marianne

Hello Tobias,
Zebras are such welcome photo subjects!
You don't have to consider eye-catchers and lines as it all comes with the subject...
This seems to be their favourite position, well framed!
Greetings,
