Photographer’s Note
In Search of the Rain,
The plain was filled with the wilder beasts and zebras during the migration in the Serengeti NP. It’s hard to even know where to start or focus when photographing. Here is a group of zebras huddled together in the rain that caught my attention. I like how rich the colors turned after the rain, it was still drizzling slightly.
If you ever have an opportunity, go. It’s a once in life time experience. No picture will do it justice. No words can describe it.
Sorry, no camera setting info, I have all my raw files archived on disc somewhere
Cropped,
Slight contrast, sharpen, and 10% saturation
No sepia tone applied, just the way it was, everything is yellowish brown and black and white

Hello Way,
Very good composition and great picture of the wildlife in Serengeti.
Nice to take different kind of animals together. Also the birds on the zebras make it beautiful.

way,
With so many wildlifes in this image, you have managed beautifully with the two distinct horizontal bands of zebras and wildebeests. One gets the feel of the herds, without feeling overwhelmed with the chaotic jumble of individuals. Great sharpness and gorgeous and natural colors. the composition is wonderful with the more eye catchy zebras to draw ones attention and there's more for the eyes to look at all layers of wilderbeasts and the detail each animals.
Appreciates the post.

Hi Way,
Good shot with the herd of zebras packed tight amongst the wildebeast behind. I like how you have the nearest zebra eyeing you up intensely!

I love it, classic serengeti wildlife without the typical harsh african light conditions, the young zebra in the fg is especially cute.

Hi Way.
I'm wondered about your gallery..,are you sure you don't work for National Geographic?
I find all your shots about wild life fascinating,I've chosen this one for the time being because it seems to me it has more representatives from this wild life, and because I find the zebra like an animal with such strange beautiful..I can see in your shot how all the colours work together wonderfully in those landscapes.Congratulations for the experience ang best wishes..
